I LOVE this song. Not because I want to be selfish and have it all be about me, but the Bible - God - commands us to love others as we love ourselves.

Galations 5:14 "For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself."

and that's just one of the many places that we are commanded that in God's word. But if we dont love ourselves, or basically, are good to ourselves, how can we truly love others?

btw, if you listen to any secular music, this is our "family" band. they are, in our opinion, the best band ever! BUT only if Steve Perry is singing with them (in our humble opinions of course).
even Esther knows who they are when they come on the radio or when we pop in their cd. Abigail pretty much knows all of the words to their greatest hits album along with Clay, Rachel & Myself.
